Biography
Ed Graves is a producer, songwriter and singer/instrumentalist based in Bath, UK. He has collaborated with artists such as Hot Since 82, Alok, and Laidback Luke, and has made his mark as a producer working with talents like Audien, Noizu, Julia Church, and Dan Whitlam. Ed’s credits have surpassed 200 million streams and include Billboard charting success.
He first learned the classical guitar at the age of 7 later to play in bands throughout his youth, moving on as a music director and composer in the UK and USA.
Ed was a scholar at Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating in 2016 with a Magna Cum Laude. He later moved to New York City to perform residencies and record in studios with prominent artists.
Ed has worked with Grammy Award Winning artists, producers and engineers and has recorded for British Mercury Prize winners. Experiences include curating music events for highly regarded hospitality groups and writing music for TV & Film in New York City. During his time in America, he worked with the Red Bull Music Academy and was part of the Harvard Law School Recording Artists Projects.
His journey has seen him play in bands supporting industry giants like Maroon 5 and Journey. In 2024, Ed founded Rainbow Wood Records via AWAL, a label dedicated to pop and alt-pop music. He also runs two residential recording studios in Bath, known as Rainbow Wood Studios, and manages Rainbow Wood Sessions, a platform showcasing emerging artists.
